Fresh Trends: Crop Top

It was the early nineties when Kate Moss appeared in these fabulous shots showing off her pouting beauty in an essential top. Before her, the audacious Madonna had already proposed the crop top in the most varied versions. Afterwards, other icons of the SoundSystem, from the Spice Girls to Gwen Stefani, during those years performed with micro tops of the most exuberant styles.
Ended up in oblivion for more than a decade, from the version casual and grunge of the 90s, crop top has been reproposed on the catwalks in a higher version: chic and "buttoned up" in lace or silk, paired with skirts or high-waisted trousers, or in a more street version, in jersey or soft tissues, with or without sleeves.
Many celebs have been yet understood the fresh trend and have revived each in their own style: Rihanna and Diane Kruger with low-waisted jeans, in streetswear version, Alessandra Ambrosio combined with high-waisted hot pants at the latest edition of Coachella, and Gwyneth Paltrow, Josephin and Beyonce in a super sexy versione, in lace with a high waist pencil skirt.
The most ironic of all, as usual, Cara Delevigne, with micro jersey top with cartoon theme.

Erano i primi anni Novanta quando Kate Moss appariva in questi scatti favolosi sfoggiando la sua bellezza imbronciata in un top essenziale. Prima di lei, l'audace Madonna aveva già proposto il crop top nelle più svariate versioni. A seguire, anche altre icone del soundsystem, dalle Spice Girls a Gwen Stefani, in quegli anni si esibivano con dei top micro e aderentissimi dagli stili più esuberanti.
Finito nel dimenticatoio per più di una decina d'anni, dalla versione più casual e grunge degli anni '90, il crop top è stato riproposto nelle passerelle in una versione più chic e "abbottonata", in pizzo o in seta, abbinato a gonne o pantaloni a vita alta, o in una versione più street in felpa o tessuti morbidi, con o senza maniche.
Molte celebs hanno subito recepito il fresh trend e lo hanno riproposto ognuna secondo il proprio stile: Rihanna e Diane Kruger con jeans a vita bassa, io versione streetswear, Alessandra Ambrosio abbinato a degli hot pants a vita altissima per l'ultima edizione del Coachella, e Gwyneth Paltrow, Beyonce e Jacqueline MacInnes Wood in versione pizzo supersexy con tubino a vita alta.
La più ironica di tutte, come sempre, Cara Delevigne, con micro top in felpa a tema cartoon.

CELEBRATING LOOKS : COACHELLA FESTIVAL

Lots of music and want to have fun, what you feel from the photos of the 'latest edition of the Coachella Festival. The event is taking place in these days in the Californian city of Indio, southeast of Los Angeles, where the sun brought together thousands of people from all over world. An huge green lawn acts as catwalk for models, artists, and celebrities who walk under the sun between a party and another listening to good music and making picnic with friends.
Great artists such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nick Cave, Blur, Moby, Phoenix, Benny Benassiare alternated on stages of the festival, the music never stops, concerts of various genres, from 'indie to electronics from rock to' alternatives. The style is hippie with some rock details: shorts, mini dress, country boots, long skirts, foulard, hats and indispensable sunglasses with mirror lens!

For us fashion bloggers the attraction are of course the many celebrities present at the event: Alessandra Ambrosio, Brazilian supermodel, shows off a summer look perfect for the occasion: fluo high-waisted shorts, white top, sandals and cross body  bag . The accessories are many and colorful: a long floral-patterned foulard, sunglasses with red lenses, bracelets and necklaces never ending!

Tanta musica e voglia di divertirsi, quel che si percepisce dalle foto dell' ultima edizione del Coachella Festival. L'evento si sta svolgendo proprio in questi giorni nella città californiana di Indio, a sud est di Los Angeles, dove il sole ha richiamato migliaia di persone da tutto il mondo. Un immenso prato verde fa da passerella a modelle, artisti, e personaggi famosi che sotto il sole passeggiano tra un party e l'altro ascoltando buona musica e facendo pic-nic con gli amici.

Grandi artisti come  Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nick Cave, Blur, Moby, Phoenix,  Benny Benassi si alternano negli stage del Festival; la musica non si ferma mai, concerti di vari generi, dall' indie all'elettronica, dal rock all'alternative. Lo stile è hippie con qualche dettaglio rock: shorts, mini dress, stivali country, gonne lunghe, foulard, cappelli e gli irrinunciabili occhiali da sole con lente a specchio!

Per noi fashion blogger l'attrazione sono ovviamente le innumerevoli le celebrities presenti all'evento: Alessandra Ambrosio, top model brasiliana, sfoggia un look estivo e azzeccato per l'occasione: shorts fluo a vita alta, top bianco, sandali bassi e borsa a tracolla. Gli accessori sono moltissimi e coloratissimi: un lungo foulard dai motivi floreali, occhiali da sole con lenti rosse, bracciali e collane a non finire! 

The Little Black Jacket Chanel by Karl Lagerfeld

Last days of opening for The Little Black Jacket, a touring photographic exhibition of Karl Lagerfeld that arrived in Milan after Tokyo, New York, London, Paris and Berlin.

The wonderful location of the Rotonda della Besana hosted an exhibit highly suggestive and with minimal equipment (well kept, signed by Carine Roitfeld, former editor of Vogue Fr) to allow the right space to 113 artistic shots imprinted on the film of Karl Lagerfeld.

First woman of the exposure is the iconic Chanel Little Black Jacket, reinterpreted in an exceptional way in the gallery of images from famous faces who have posed for the famous fashion designer: models, artists, muses, designers and fashion icons worldwide.
The leitmotiv of each photograph is the jacket, but the result is a kaleidoscope of completely different styles. The genius of Karl has paid tribute to Coco Chanel that 60 years ago designed a jacket so versatile, and to use his words, "a jacket that can be worn by one and all".

Ultimi giorni di apertura per The Little Black Jacket, la mostra fotografica itinerante di Karl Lagerfeld approdata a Milano dopo Tokyo, New York, Londra, Parigi e Berlino.
La meravigliosa location della Rotonda della Besana ospita una mostra estremamente suggestiva e dagli allestimenti minimali (curatissimi, a firma di Carine Roitfeld, ex direttore di Vogue Fr) per concedere il giusto spazio ai 113 scatti artistici impressi sulla pellicola di Karl Lagerfeld.

Prima donna assoluta dell'esposizione è l'iconica Little Black Jacket di Chanel, reinterpretata in modo eccezionale  nella galleria di immagini da volti noti che hanno posato per il celebre stilista: modelle, artiste, muse, stilisti  ed icone della moda mondiale.
Il leit motiv di ogni fotografia è la giacca, ma il risultato è un caleidoscopio di stili completamente differenti. Il genio di Karl ha reso onore a Coco Chanel che 60 anni fa aveva pensato ad una giacca così versatile, e per usare le sue parole, "a jacket that can be worn by one and all".

"The World that we will live," the slogan of the 52nd edition of the Salone del Mobile just ended. As a good blogger I couldn't miss one of the most important events in Milan; I went to take a look to this year's proposals between the pavilions of Cosmit and look for trends and ideas in the streets of Milan Fuorisalone.
Future is the theme of this year. The green approach is a must, followed by creative recycling and responsible design.
Among the objects and installations presented by various designers stands a strong use of color and a deep stylistic and material research. Moving to tissues and metal, wood reveals the best sustainable material and is the dominant material in this latest edition of the Salone del Mobile.
Among the events of the Exhibition, on show at the Triennale Luigi Ghianda with Fare è Pensare (Making is Thinking) pays tribute to the wood, specifying as "any material, if properly worked, become valuable."

"Il Mondo che abiteremo", questo lo slogan della 52esima edizione del Salone del Mobile appena conclusa. Da brava blogger non ho potuto perdermi uno degli eventi più importanti di Milano e sono andata a cuoriosare le proposte di quest'anno tra i padiglioni del Cosmit e a cercare tendenze e spunti per le vie di Milano al Fuorisalone.
Il futuro, il tema di quest'anno. L'approccio green quindi è d'obbligo, parallelamente seguito dal riciclo creativo e dal design responsabile.
Tra gli oggetti e le installazioni presentati dai vari designer spicca un forte utilizzo del colore e una profonda ricerca stilistica e dei materiali. Passando per i tessuti e il metallo, il legno si rivela il materiale sostenibile per eccellenza e risulta il materiale dominante in questa ultima edizione del Salone del Mobile.
Tra gli eventi satellite del Fuorisalone, in mostra alla Triennale Luigi Ghianda con Fare è Pensare, rende omaggio al legno, precisando come "qualsiasi materiale, se ben lavorato, diventi prezioso".

Tom Dixon, in his collection Rough and Smooth on show at the Museum of Science and Technology, plays with the geometry and shapes, in a production of industrial shelving and rough boxes matched with satin lamps and auburn tables.

Fresh Trends: Bomber Bomb!

Must have of this spring full of colors and news, is the return of the Bomber!
Colored, printed of all kinds, monochrome, embroidered or simple sweater, this item is very popular in the streets of the cities. Like every important vintage piece, the Bomber, born as american College classic sweater jacket, has now become a real trend that can not miss in our closet!

Che sia colorato, con stampe di ogni genere, in tinta unita, ricamato o in semplice felpa, questo capo sta rispopolando tra le strade delle città.
Come ogni pezzo vintage che si rispetti, il Bomber, inizialmente nato come classica giacca in felpa dei college americani, ora è diventato un vero e proprio trend che non può mancare nel nostro armadio!
Le rivisitazioni proposte dagli stilisti sono le più svariate; chi lo vuole più particolare e originale opta per le stampe: dallo stile Orientale all' Animalier, da motivi geometrici a simboli etnici, e per finire la stampa floreale che non può mancare in questa frizzante primavera.

Ancient Goddess Inspiration: Peplum Style

This week fashion shines in Sydney, at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Australia, but also in Italy, due to the Salone del Mobile in Milan and the beautiful weather that has finally decided to come out, streetstyle offers different inspirations for our mood... leave aside dark colors and show off  a ton-sur-ton ecru and beige!
To satisfy the desire of every woman to look like an ancient Greek goddess, the peplum with classical references is back in vogue and this summer we will see it everywhere: in skirts, tops, jackets... I chose the jacket version with visible stitches and I combined it with beige jeggins and gold accessories, an outfit essential with warm tones, but at the same time casual chic!

Questa settimana la moda splende a Sydney, in occasione della Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia, ma anche in Italia, complici il Salone del Mobile di Milano ed il bel tempo che finalmente ha deciso di fare tappa, lo streetstyle propone un bel po' di ispirazioni per i nostri mood... lasciamo da parte i colori scuri e sfoggiamo un ton-sur-ton ecru e beige! 

Per assecondare il desiderio di ogni donna di assomigliare ad un'antica dea greca, il peplo dai richiami classici è tornato in auge e quest'estate lo vedremo un po' ovunque: gonne, top, giacche... io ho scelto la versione jacket con cuciture a vista e l'ho abbinata a jeggins beige ed accessori dorati; un outfit essenziale e dai toni caldi ma allo stesso tempo casual chic! 

Swimwear Style With Awaken Ibiza

Hello girls!

Summer is getting closer and I can not wait to feel the atmosphere of lightheartedness that you breathe in the warm air heated by the sun; in my mind I'm already dreaming the thousands of looks that I can show off in those hot and sunny days here in the city and also at the beach. I love the sea and I like to treat in detail the beach looks, long and soft dresses , wedges and slave style sandals, big sunglasses, and various accessories that sunlit adorn everything! As you know Ibiza is a popular tourist destination by young people, where the fun never misses, beach parties and sunset cocktails are the order of the day. 

For the competition of Asos I created this outfit, perfect for a day at the pool with friends, and for a party in Ibiza. A very particular swimsuit, with fringes at the front, combined with a long skirt and flat sandals, gives a touch of color and transforms the pool look to party . Maxi bag and sunglasses are a must in my summer looks, as accessories; I opted for gold bracelets and rings which make the look perfect  for the occasion. I confess that I'm already imagining to be in a beautiful sandy beach of Ibiza having fun and relax, enjoying the sun and showing off this amazing outfit!

l'estate si sta avvicinando e non vedo l'ora di sentire quell'atmosfera di spensieratezza che si respira nell'aria calda riscaldata dal sole; nella mia testa sto già fantasticando i mille look che potrò sfoggiare in quelle giornate calde e soleggianti sia qui in città che al mare. Adoro il mare e mi piace curare nel dettaglio anche i look da spiaggia; abiti lunghi e morbidi, zeppe e sandali alla schiava, maxi occhiali da sole, e svariati accessori che illuminati dal sole impreziosiscono il tutto! Come sapete Ibiza è una meta turistica prediletta dai giovani, dove il divertimento non manca mai; feste in spiaggia e cocktail al tramonto sono all'ordine del giorno.
Per la competizione di Asos, ho creato questo outfit, perfetto sia per una giornata in piscina con gli amici, che per un mega party ad Ibiza. Un costume intero molto particolare, con delle frange sul davanti, che abbinato ad una gonna lunga e a sandali bassi, da un tocco di colore e trasforma il look pool ad un look da party. Maxi bag e occhiali da sole non possono mancare nei miei look estivi, come del resto gli accessori; essendo il costume già particolare ho optato per dei bracciali e anelli dorati che rendono il look perfetto per l'occasione. Vi confesso che sto già immaginando di essere in una magnifica spiaggia di Ibiza a divertirmi e rilassarmi, godendo il sole e sfoggiando questo stupendo outfit!

today I choose a very chic but casual look of one of the most beautiful angels that there may be Miranda Kerr. In walk through the streets of the city, she is very simple but at the same time refined and beautiful. Ripped jeans and flat leopardprint shoes , black and white striped shirt and a beige trench coat that makes everything very chic! Trench coat is an item that I love, perfect for spring temperatures and very versatile. The accessories are important, a maxi black leather bag and big sunglasses that cover most of her angelic face.

Il trench è un capo che adoro, perfetto per le temperature primaverili e molto versatile.
