Milano Fashion Week, Dolce & Gabbana Fashion Show

Buongiorno ragazze!

Hello ladies!
Yesterday I had the opportunity to attend the Fashion Show of Dolce &Gabbana, Woman F/W 2013/2014. As I already expected it was absolutely impeccable; the location, the music and the collection were amazing!
The themes of this Fall/Winter of the two designers were religiosity, the Mosaic (specifically the mosaics of Monreale in Palermo) and the incredible love for tailoring, all summed up in one word: Devotion. Devotion to cut, fabrics, details and craftsmanship.
A sophisticated style, a mix of fabrics, appliques, embroideries and colors of great impact.
The clothes are characterized by the shapes and proportions referred to the line A and to the hourglass.
Gold and red dominated the catwalk, shown off in lace, brocades, silk, wool and organza decorated with precious stones and sacred representations.
A key role had accessories, from Agata bags, already become a must have, to shoes with filigree sculpture heels and mosaic and precious stones inserts .
The  fashion show ended with a procession of queens in red lace dresses with embroidery and stones, absolutely overwhelming.

Among the guests at the fashion show the beautiful Bianca Brandolini D'Adda and Bianca Balti, the first in a dress of the Maison of Spring/Summer 2013, and the second in a total black lace dress.

For the event I wore a shirt in very light chiffon combined with a high waist skirt with tulle and lace. Gold accessories, Zara belt and black wedges .
Trench and Ferragamo clutch completed the elegant but not too serious look!
I recommend you to review the Fashion Show.
